The interested and eligible candidates are invited for a walk-in-interview to be held on 7th
August, 2017 at 12 noon in the office of the Head, Department of Botany for filling the two
positions of Junior Research Fellow available under the DBT sponsored Indo-Canadian
project titled “Biomonitoring of water quality in relation to human health using
biosensors and improvements through nanoparticle based purification systems”. The
positions are purely co-terminus with the tenure of the project. The candidate should bring
original certificates/transcripts and other documents indicating qualification, percentage of
marks in the qualifying examination, age, certificate of having qualified NET and similar
accredited tests and research experience in the relevant field on the day of interview. The
candidates should be MSc in Botany, Biotechnology or Environmental Science with not less
than 55% marks in the qualifying examination. Preference would be given to the candidates
with experience of having worked on the project related activities.
No TA/DA shall be paid for appearing in the interview.
